The Kario distillery is noted for its unique use of green walnuts to produce KYLON liqueur and KARIO dietary drinks, and its twice-distilled liqueurs, Yellow and Green Stellina.
Situated in Belley in the French department of Ain in the French Alps region, Kario produces its dietary drink supplements and liqueurs from recipes originally created by the Brothers of the Holy Family.
The KARIO drink was initially invented by Brother Henri-Marie over a century ago and its recipe has remained a closely-guarded secret ever since, known only to the Brothers of the Holy Family. Even now, with the use of modern equipment and newly developed processes, the various blends of ingredients used in KARIO’s recipes remain undisclosed.
